This old house of some newar famlies of Dolakha was constructed in 1678 (1735 BS), which is located at near Bhimeshowr temple in Dolakha bazar. More than five families live in this house. Local people gave name to this house 'Puranchhe' , this word is from Dolakha newari language, puran means old and chhe means house. There was many earthquake happen in this area but the destruction never happen in this building.
