Voices of Poor Students

Female Thami students like this fourth grade girl often must fight twice as hard as boys to stay in school. Poor parents with many children often feel that they cannot afford to keep more than one or two children in school, and usually they will invest in educating their sons before their daughters. Thami Education Project provides financial support for such families in Dolakha so that girls also receive educational opportunities. But there are many other families from other casts, who can not get education not only in remote area of Dolakha but in many places of our country. Their vocies are only give them education!! and help them to receive educational opportunities.
